Morjas had outgrown their WordPress set up, which struggled with handling their expanding product catalog, operational needs and international goals. 

SEO became a challenge, as the platform’s limitations restricted optimization. The user experience also suffered. Slow site speed and clunky navigation led to higher bounce rates and fewer conversions. Additionally, the lack of seamless integrations with essential third-party tools restricted Morjas’ ability to innovate.

OUR APPROACH

We migrated Morjas from WordPress to a headless, scalable system combining Centra and Storyblok CMS. The flexibility of their new set up allows for easier and more dynamic changes without the limitations previously imposed by WordPress, allowing Morjas’ ecommerce experience to evolve with them as their business grows.

To support Morjas’ global expansion, we prioritized localization, delivering a frictionless multilingual and multicurrency experience in English, French, and German. For Morjas’ growing product catalog, we integrated Storyblok CMS, allowing easier product content management.

Enhancing performance was key, so we implemented a fast, responsive frontend to create a smooth shopping experience. At the same time, we tackled SEO challenges by refining technical elements like meta tags and translated URLs, preserving and strengthening Morjas’ search rankings.
